Feeler Gauge INSIZE SZCZELINOMIERZ 0.05–1.0 mm Length 100 mm
Feeler gauge INSIZE SZCZELINOMIERZ 0.05–1.0 mm Length 100 mm is a compact handheld measuring tool designed to determine clearance gaps and joint widths in mechanical assemblies, engines and maintenance tasks. The set contains multiple individual thin blades of different thicknesses assembled in a folding holder with a total length of 100 mm, enabling precise feeler measurements in confined spaces. This feeler gauge is suitable for workshop, automotive and industrial inspection work where accurate gap verification is required.
The INSIZE feeler gauge provides a continuous range of thin metal leaves from 0.05 mm up to 1.0 mm, allowing incremental selection of the appropriate thickness for accurate gap measurement. Its folding holder protects the blades when not in use and keeps them organized for quick access. The compact 100 mm length offers manoeuvrability in tight areas while maintaining stable blade alignment for reliable readings. The tool is sturdy enough for routine workshop use and designed for repeatable, consistent measurements.
Select the blade or combination of blades that approximates the gap to be measured. Fold out the chosen blade and insert it into the gap with light pressure; the correct fit will slide with slight friction. If a single blade is too thin or too thick, combine adjacent blades to achieve the desired total thickness. After measurement, fold the blades back into the holder to protect them and store the gauge in a dry place to prevent corrosion.
Ensure blades are clean and free of burrs before each use; avoid forcing excessively into gaps to prevent blade damage. Use the feeler gauge at room temperature when possible, as extreme temperatures can affect material dimensions. Store the tool dry and periodically check blade condition; replace blades or the set if wear or deformation compromises measurement accuracy.
