Feeler gauge INSIZE 4602-32, 32 blades 0.03–1.00 mm, length 100 mm
INSIZE 4602-32 feeler gauge with 32 blades provides a compact, accurate tool for measuring and setting clearances, gaps and tolerances in mechanical assemblies, engines and machining setups. The set contains individual steel blades with thicknesses from 0.03 mm up to 1.00 mm and a blade length of 100 mm, enabling single-blade measurements or combinations of blades to reach precise target thicknesses for alignment, inspection and maintenance tasks.
The blades are made of hardened steel for wear resistance and stable thickness over time. A wide range of incremental thicknesses within a single 32-blade set reduces the need for multiple separate gauges. The 100 mm blade length offers better reach into narrow or recessed joints compared with very short feeler blades, while a folding or locking holder keeps blades organized and protected when not in use. The compact format is suitable for workshop use and field measurements.
Select a single blade or combine multiple blades to achieve the required thickness. Insert the blade(s) into the gap to be measured and feel for light friction to determine the correct clearance. For setting clearances, adjust components until the selected blade(s) slide with appropriate resistance. After use, fold the blades back into the holder and store in a dry place to reduce corrosion risk.
Clean contact surfaces and blades before measurement to avoid false readings. Use combinations of thinner blades rather than forcing a thicker blade into a gap. Apply a light machine oil to blades for storage if working in humid environments, and periodically check blades for wear or burrs that can affect accuracy.
