Feeler Gauge INSIZE MWSb 0.05–1 mm L=150 mm, set 20 leaves
INSIZE MWSb feeler gauge set with 20 leaves provides measured thicknesses from 0.05 mm up to 1 mm with a blade length of 150 mm. The set is intended for precise gap and clearance measurement in mechanical assembly, maintenance and inspection tasks. Each steel leaf is marked with its nominal thickness, enabling selection of the appropriate blade for valve clearance, bearing play, spark plug gaps and other small-tolerance adjustments.
The set covers a continuous range of thin gauges from 0.05 mm to 1 mm in a compact holding frame that keeps blades aligned and protected. Leaves are manufactured to consistent thickness tolerances to provide repeatable measurements, and the 150 mm length gives better reach and control in narrow or recessed locations. Marked blades simplify identification, while the organized set reduces time spent searching for the correct feeler.
Select the leaf corresponding to the target gap and insert it between the mating surfaces to assess clearance. If the blade fits with light friction, the measured gap corresponds to the blade thickness; if it is too loose or too tight, try the next thicker or thinner leaf until the correct feel is achieved. Use the holder to pivot individual leaves out for access and fold them back into the frame for storage. Clean blades after use to remove debris or oil and store the set in a dry place to prevent corrosion.
For accurate results, ensure contact surfaces are clean and free of heavy lubrication; measure at multiple points if gaps may vary. Avoid bending leaves beyond their elastic limit and replace any warped or corroded blades. When measuring thermal or running clearances, perform measurements at the specified service temperature and follow manufacturer tolerances.
