SAS Cable Intel AXXCBL600CVCR
The Intel AXXCBL600CVCR is a 0.6 m Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) cable with SFF-8611 connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data connections in server environments. This spare cable kit contains one black cable with a straight OCuLink SFF-8611 connector at one end and a right-angle OCuLink SFF-8611 connector at the other end. It is intended for use in specific server systems to connect a server board OCuLink SSD connector to an HSBP SSD connector, providing reliable signal integrity for storage and RAID configurations. The cable is compliant with ECCN EAR99 for export control purposes.
The cable’s mixed straight-to-right-angle connector configuration enables flexible routing in densely packed server chassis while maintaining a standardized SFF-8611 interface. Robust construction and a 0.6 m length balance durability with reach suitable for short internal connections. Compatibility with R1208, R2208, R2208+8, and R2224 systems ensures straightforward replacement or upgrade of existing internal SAS/OCuLink connections.
Power down the server and follow appropriate electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions before installing the cable. Locate the server board OCuLink SSD connector and the corresponding HSBP SSD connector in the chassis. Align the straight SFF-8611 connector with the server board OCuLink port and the right-angle SFF-8611 connector with the HSBP SSD port, then insert each connector until it seats securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and interference with fans or other hot components, and secure it as required by the chassis cable management. After installation, power on the system and verify device detection in the server management interface or operating system.
Use the straight-to-right-angle cable where internal space constraints require low-profile connector orientation. Avoid excessive bending near the right-angle connector and maintain manufacturer-recommended clearance from heat sources. Replace the cable if physical damage or connector wear is observed to preserve signal integrity.
