Network Card Intel I350T4V2BLK
The Intel I350T4V2BLK is a wired PCI Express network card for servers and workstations that supports gigabit Ethernet (up to 1000 Mbit/s). It implements technologies for low-latency RDMA over Ethernet (iWARP), virtualization support including PCI-SIG SR-IOV and Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq), and power-saving features through Intel® Ethernet Power Management. The card is suitable for environments that require reliable, high-throughput wired connectivity and advanced offload and partitioning capabilities.
The I350T4V2BLK provides low-latency data transfer with iWARP/RDMA, hardware-assisted virtualization via SR-IOV and VMDq, and flexible port partitioning to allocate bandwidth fairly among virtual functions. Integrated power management reduces idle power and adjusts capacity according to demand, and the PCI Express host interface ensures broad compatibility with server and workstation platforms.
Install the Intel I350T4V2BLK into an available PCI Express slot in a powered-off server or workstation following the platform manufacturer’s instructions. After physical installation, install the appropriate Intel drivers for your operating system and configure network settings via the OS network manager or management tools. Enable virtualization features (SR-IOV, VMDq) and iWARP support where applicable through the system BIOS/firmware and the operating system or hypervisor network configuration.
For optimal performance, use certified CAT5e/CAT6 cabling for gigabit links, keep firmware and drivers up to date, and configure SR-IOV and VMDq in coordination with hypervisor settings to ensure proper allocation of virtual functions and bandwidth. Monitor power settings to balance energy efficiency and performance according to workload demands.
