The Intellinet Fast Ethernet Media Converter converts 10/100Base-Tx copper Ethernet to 100Base-Fx fibre, enabling migration or expansion of existing networks with minimal cost and complexity. The converter is transparent to network protocols and preserves existing network behaviour while adding support for fibre links. It features ST multi-mode fibre connectivity, a metal housing, LED indicators for LAN, Link and Power, and supports IEEE 802.3/802.3u standards with a maximum throughput of 100 Mbit/s and a maximum fibre distance of up to 2000 m.
