Network Card Intellinet Gigabit PCI Express 522533
Network Card Intellinet Gigabit PCI Express 522533
The Intellinet Gigabit PCI Express 522533 is a wired network adapter that provides up to 1000 Mbit/s over existing copper Ethernet cabling. It uses a PCI Express host interface to deliver higher throughput than legacy 32‑ or 64‑bit PCI cards and supports standard Ethernet speeds including 10Base‑T, 100Base‑TX and 1000Base‑T. The card is intended to upgrade desktop systems for faster wired connectivity without the need to rewire with fibre optic cable.
The PCI Express interface enables higher data rates and lower latency compared with older PCI architectures, allowing throughput up to 2 Gbps in full duplex mode. The adapter supports auto‑negotiation to match switch port speeds and offers Wake‑On‑LAN for remote power on. Built‑in diagnostics include crossover detection and auto correction to simplify installation and maintenance. Standards compliance (IEEE 802.3, 802.3ab, 802.3u, 802.1Q, 802.1p) ensures compatibility with common network environments.
Turn off the PC and insert the Intellinet Gigabit PCI Express card into an available PCI Express slot on the motherboard. Secure the card to the chassis, connect a standard RJ‑45 Ethernet cable to the network port, then power on the computer. Install any required drivers provided by the operating system or from the manufacturer to enable full functionality, including Wake‑On‑LAN and advanced features. Verify link and speed via the operating system network settings or the network switch indicators.
For optimal performance use quality Cat5e or Cat6 copper cabling and ensure the connected switch or router supports Gigabit Ethernet. Enable full duplex operation where supported and keep drivers up to date. Use Wake‑On‑LAN only on systems configured in BIOS/UEFI and operating system settings to allow remote power‑on.
