Cable tie INTELLINET 699991.3 — steel, aluminium finish, 80 × 80 mm, 1 pc
INTELLINET 699991.3 is a steel cable tie with an aluminium-coloured finish, sized 80 × 80 mm and supplied as a single piece. Constructed from galvanised steel, this metal cable organizer is intended for secure bundling and routing of cables, small hoses and similar items where plastic ties lack sufficient mechanical strength or heat and corrosion resistance. The flat, pre-formed shape allows mounting to the side of 19" profile rails and other metal structures commonly used in network racks and industrial installations.
The galvanised steel construction provides higher tensile strength and improved resistance to temperature extremes and mechanical wear compared with polymer ties. The aluminium-coloured finish offers visual neutrality for equipment racks and installation frames while the compact 80 × 80 mm size fits small to medium cable bundles. Designed for mounting on the side of 19" profile rails, the tie maintains a stable hold and resists deformation under load.
Position the cable tie around the bundle of cables or hoses so that the pre-formed structure aligns with the intended mounting point. Close and secure the tie according to the product’s fastening method, ensuring an even, snug fit without crushing the cables. If mounting to a 19" profile rail, align the tie with the rail side and fasten so the tie’s body bears the load rather than individual conductors. Trim any excess material if required to avoid sharp edges.
Use this steel cable tie where mechanical strength, heat resistance and corrosion resistance are priorities. Avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to cable insulation; for delicate fiber or thin conductor bundles, use additional protective sleeving or choose a tie designed for lighter clamping force. For installations in corrosive atmospheres, verify material compatibility and consider periodic inspection for surface degradation.
