The Goobay Modular Telephone Cable black 3 m RJ-11 is a 3‑metre flat phone cable with RJ‑11 plugs on both ends, designed to connect analogue and digital devices such as telephones, modems, fax machines and routers. The cable features copper‑clad aluminium conductors, robust PVC sheathing and standardised 6P4C (RJ‑11) plugs with latch lugs to ensure a stable connection and clear signal transmission. Packaged as a single unit, it is suitable for use in home and small office installations where a reliable telephone or DSL connection is required.
The flat design and slim profile make the cable easy to route along walls or behind furniture. Copper‑clad aluminium conductors provide adequate signal quality while keeping the cable lightweight. PVC outer jacket increases mechanical durability and reduces the risk of cable breakage. Standardised 6P4C RJ‑11 plugs ensure compatibility with common telephone and modem jacks.
Insert each RJ‑11 plug into the corresponding telephone or wall jack until the latch clicks into place. Route the flat cable along skirting boards or behind furniture to minimise visibility and prevent tripping. For DSL or VDSL connections, follow the network device manufacturer’s instructions for splitter or filter placement before connecting the cable to modems or routers.
Do not bend the cable sharply near the connectors or subject it to excessive tensile force. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to reduce potential interference. Replace the cable if the jacket or plug shows visible damage.
