Its ultra-short 11mm focal length and rectilinear projection produce an exceptionally wide field of view (up to 123° in 2.39:1 widescreen) while maintaining a large 43.3 mm image circle that covers full-frame sensors. The lens is compact and robust, with a close focusing distance of 0.27 m and a lightweight design suitable for handheld use or mounted rigs.

Advantages

The optical design uses 16 elements including high-refractive (HR), aspherical and low-dispersion (ED) glass to deliver sharp cinematic images with minimal focus breathing and support for up to 8K resolution. A rounded iris provides a maximum aperture of T4.3 down to T22. Mechanically, the lens features a Multi Start Thread focusing mechanism for quiet, precise focus, a 180° focus throw, and geared rings in Mod 0.8 standard for compatibility with cine accessories.
