The Irix Cine 150mm T3.0 MILC is a full-frame cinema lens designed for MILC cameras with PL mount. It offers 1:1 macro capability and a minimum focusing distance of 0.35 m, supporting high-resolution capture suitable for up to 8K UHD. The optical layout of 12 elements in 9 groups, including high refractive (HR) and low-dispersion (ED) elements, delivers high resolution with minimal chromatic aberration and very low distortion. The lens features internal focusing, a de-clicked aperture from T3.0 to T32, and a durable sealed housing with weather protection and a removable support foot.

The lens combines a proven optical design—derived from the Irix 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1—with cine-oriented mechanics: a quiet, smooth focus ring with a 270° rotation enabled by the MST positioning system, a Multi Start Thread mechanism for long-term reliability, and laser-engraved markings with UV fluorescent paint for improved legibility in low light. Eleven rounded iris blades produce smooth bokeh while reducing diffraction at low apertures. The Magnetic Mount System (MMS) allows quick attachment of compatible accessories; a detachable reversible lens hood is included.
