i-tec USB-C DisplayPort Bi-Directional Cable Adapter 8K 150cm
i-tec USB-C DisplayPort Bi-Directional Cable Adapter 8K 150cm
Expand your desktop or docking station with an external monitor using the i-tec USB-C DisplayPort Bi-Directional Cable Adapter 8K 150cm. This lightweight black cable adapter supports video transfer up to 8K at 30 Hz and carries stereo audio. The 1.5 m length and bi-directional functionality allow connection from USB-C (including Thunderbolt 3/4 and USB4) to DisplayPort displays and from DisplayPort sources to USB-C displays or devices that accept a DisplayPort signal over USB-C.
The adapter offers plug-and-play operation without additional drivers, delivering high-resolution video and audio over a single cable. Its bi-directional design provides versatility, enabling use with laptops, docking stations, monitors, projectors and other display equipment. The 1.5 m cable length gives flexibility for desktop setups while keeping the adapter lightweight and easy to transport.
Connect the appropriate end of the cable adapter to the video output or input on your device: plug the USB-C end into a laptop, docking station or USB-C display that supports video transfer, or plug the DisplayPort end into a monitor, projector or PC graphics output. The adapter automatically negotiates the compatible video mode. Ensure your source device supports the required video mode (DisplayPort alt mode or Thunderbolt/USB4) and select the correct input on the display. No software installation is necessary for standard operation.
Use high-quality, properly shielded ports on both devices and avoid excessively bending the cable near the connectors. For 8K output, verify that both the source device and the display support the target resolution and refresh rate and that any intermediary docking station or hub also supports the required bandwidth.
