Car jack stands JCB 2t pair, adjustable height 265–365 mm, set of 2
Pair of JCB car jack stands, each rated for a 2-ton load and adjustable in height from 265 to 365 mm. These steel support stands are engineered to stabilize cars and light commercial vehicles during maintenance, repairs or storage. The stands feature a wide, robust base for improved ground contact, a threaded riser for precise height adjustment and a safety locking mechanism that prevents accidental lowering. Designed for garage and workshop environments, the pair provides a reliable, compact solution for lifting support and underbody access.
Constructed from durable steel, the JCB jack stands offer long service life and resistance to typical workshop wear. The threaded riser allows fine, secure height setting while the safety lock ensures the vehicle remains supported during extended work. A broad base increases stability on flat surfaces and reduces the risk of tilting. The adjustable 265–365 mm range covers common vehicle ground clearances for cars and light commercial vehicles, making the set versatile for multiple tasks.
Position the vehicle on a level, hard surface and apply the parking brake. Place wheel chocks at the wheels remaining on the ground. Raise the vehicle with a suitable hydraulic jack to the required height and slide the jack stand under a recommended support point on the vehicle chassis or jacking point. Rotate the threaded riser to set the stand to the desired height and engage the safety locking mechanism. Lower the vehicle slowly onto the stands, ensuring full contact and stable placement before commencing work. To remove, raise the vehicle slightly with the jack, disengage the safety lock and lower the threaded riser to remove the stands.
Verify vehicle manufacturer jacking points before use and never exceed the rated 2-ton capacity per stand. Use on firm, level surfaces only and avoid placing stands on soft ground or inclined planes. Regularly inspect stands for signs of deformation, corrosion or thread damage and replace if any impairment is found.
