Abrasive cutting wheel JOBIextra 125 mm Turbo, threaded M14, model X1835
JOBIextra 125 mm Turbo abrasive cutting wheel with an M14 threaded arbor (model X1835) is engineered for use with angle grinders that accept M14 mounting. The turbo rim profile combines a serrated edge with a continuous abrasive surface to deliver faster cutting speed and improved chip evacuation compared with conventional flat wheels. The wheel is intended for cutting and light grinding on a variety of materials in metalworking, construction and renovation tasks where efficient cutting and some smoothing are required.
The turbo rim design increases material removal rate and supports cooler cutting through better airflow around the kerf. The 125 mm diameter balances compactness and reach, allowing access into tighter spaces while maintaining a practical cutting depth. The M14 threaded arbor ensures secure mounting on widely used angle grinders and simplifies replacement. The abrasive composition provides a consistent cut and a uniform finish when trimming or separating metal and similar materials.
This turbo cutting wheel is not intended for precision grinding or as a finishing disc where a perfectly smooth surface is required; its profile is optimized for cutting speed and chip clearance rather than fine polishing. It also may not be suitable for non-metal materials that require softer abrasives or for masonry and concrete cutting unless specifically rated for those materials.
Fit the abrasive cutting wheel to an angle grinder fitted with an M14 spindle and ensure the grinder is switched off and unplugged or its battery removed during installation. Tighten the wheel according to the grinder manufacturer’s instructions, verify the guard is correctly positioned, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. Start the grinder and allow it to reach full speed before engaging the workpiece; apply steady, moderate pressure and move the wheel smoothly through the cut to avoid pinching or binding. After use, allow the wheel to come to a full stop before setting the tool down and inspect the wheel for damage before future use.
For safer and longer wheel life, use at the recommended maximum RPM for 125 mm wheels, avoid side-loading the cutting edge, and replace the wheel if any cracks, excessive wear, or unusual vibration are detected.
