Screw Extractor Set JOBIprofi W15106 — for broken screws M4–M24, 8 pieces
The JOBIprofi Screw Extractor Set W15106 includes eight hardened extractors sized to remove broken or stripped screws and bolts from M4 up to M24. Designed for workshop and maintenance environments, the set covers a broad range of thread diameters commonly found in automotive repairs, machinery maintenance and metal assemblies. Each extractor has a tapered spiral profile to bite into damaged fasteners and allow controlled removal without enlarging the hole.
The set offers a stepwise range of extractors that match different thread sizes, reducing the need to improvise with unsuitable tools. Hardened-steel construction provides durability for repeated use in repair tasks. The spiral flute design helps convert rotational force into a firm grip on stripped heads or broken shafts, enabling removal with an appropriate tap wrench or drill adapter. Compact storage of eight pieces keeps the tools organized and available for on-site and shop work.
The extractors are sized for metric fasteners in the M4–M24 range; they may not be effective on smaller miniature screws or very large studs outside this range. Severely corroded fasteners fused to surrounding material or fasteners broken below the surface in blind holes can present removal challenges that may require drilling, chemical treatment, or specialized equipment beyond the scope of this set.
Select the extractor that best corresponds to the diameter of the damaged screw or bolt. If necessary, center-punch and drill a small pilot hole into the damaged fastener to provide purchase for the extractor. Insert the extractor into the pilot hole and apply steady counterclockwise torque using a tap wrench, T‑handle, or appropriate driver; the spiral profile will bite and turn out the fastener. For very tight fasteners, apply penetrating lubricant and allow time to soak before attempting extraction. Use controlled, even force to avoid breaking the extractor in the workpiece.
For safe and reliable results, start with the extractor size closest to the fastener diameter, drill a centered pilot hole, and apply steady counterclockwise torque. Use penetrating oil for seized fasteners and wear appropriate eye protection when drilling or striking near broken fasteners.
