The Joby PodZilla tripod is a compact, flexible support for smartphones and compact digital cameras. With a maximum height of 25 cm and a payload capacity up to 1 kg, this three‑leg tripod provides a stable platform for content creation on uneven surfaces. Each leg features an aluminium core covered in grippy rubber for secure positioning, and the kit includes a push‑button adjustable ball head plus a GripTight™ 360° phone mount for quick mobile shooting.
The PodZilla combines a durable aluminium core with rubberised legs to deliver stability and grip on varied terrain while remaining lightweight at 250 g. Its fully articulated legs allow flexible positioning and wrapping around supports, and the included ball head and ¼‑20” mount make it compatible with most smartphones and compact cameras up to 1 kg. The GripTight™ 360° phone mount simplifies framing and switching between portrait and landscape orientations.
Attach your smartphone to the included GripTight™ 360° phone mount or fix a camera to the tripod’s ¼‑20” thread. Adjust the push‑button ball head to set the desired angle, then position the articulated legs on a flat or wrapped surface and press them into place for a secure stance. For portrait or landscape framing, rotate the phone mount 360° and lock the ball head to hold the composition.
Use the PodZilla on firm supports or wrapped around poles and railings for best stability; avoid exceeding the 1 kg maximum load and store the tripod dry to preserve the rubber leg coating.
