Socket bit Jonnesway 3/8" hex 7 mm long (model S04HD3107)
Jonnesway 3/8" hex 7 mm long socket bit S04HD3107 is a 3/8" drive, 6-point hex socket engineered for fastening and loosening 7 mm hex-head fasteners. The extended length of the socket bit improves access to recessed or hard-to-reach fasteners, making it suitable for automotive maintenance, mechanical repairs and general workshop use. It is designed to be used with compatible 3/8" ratchets, torque wrenches and other hand tools to provide secure engagement with fastener heads.
The long 7 mm hex design gives extra reach compared with standard short sockets, allowing work in confined spaces without removing surrounding components. A 6-point profile reduces the chance of rounding off fastener corners by providing full contact on the sides of the hex. The 3/8" drive interface ensures compatibility with a wide range of common ratchets and torque tools, enabling controlled torque application and reliable removal or installation of bolts and screws.
Select a compatible 3/8" drive ratchet or torque wrench and attach the socket bit securely to the drive. Position the hex socket over the 7 mm fastener, ensuring full engagement with the 6-point profile before applying torque. Turn the ratchet or wrench in the required direction to tighten or loosen the fastener. For torque-critical applications, use a calibrated torque wrench and follow the fastener manufacturer's torque specifications.
Inspect the socket bit and fastener before use to confirm correct size and secure fit. Avoid excessive impact or use with inappropriate high-torque power tools that exceed the bit's design limits. Store the socket in a dry toolbox or socket rail to prevent corrosion and maintain precision fit.
