Socket bit Torx with hole 1/4" Jonnesway T40 x 37 mm (S08H240)
Jonnesway 1/4" Torx socket bit T40 x 37 mm is a drive bit engineered for fastening and removing Torx fasteners where secure pin retention is required. The 37 mm length and standardized 1/4" drive interface make it compatible with common ratchets, bit holders and compact driver tools. A through-hole in the bit body enables use with safety or retaining pins for applications that demand added security or prevention of bit loss during operation.
This Torx socket bit offers precise engagement with T40 Torx heads for reduced cam-out and reliable torque transfer. The through-hole design allows for the use of safety pins or retaining clips, increasing safety when working with captive fasteners or on equipment subject to vibration. Manufactured to industry dimensions for 1/4" drives, the bit is compact and suitable for tight spaces while providing sufficient length for recessed fasteners.
Insert the 1/4" Torx bit into a compatible 1/4" drive holder, socket adapter or bit driver until it seats securely. If required, pass a safety or retaining pin through the bit's through-hole and the matching hole in the holder to prevent accidental disengagement. Align the T40 tip with the fastener head, apply steady axial pressure and turn with the driver or ratchet at controlled torque suitable for the fastener and material. Avoid excessive side load to prevent tip or fastener damage.
Use the bit with appropriately rated 1/4" drivers and torque-limiting tools when working on threaded or torque-sensitive fasteners. Inspect the Torx tip for wear before use and replace the bit if rounding or deformation is visible. When using retaining pins, ensure correct pin size and secure placement to maintain safe operation under vibration.
