The set provides a range of blade lengths for everyday kitchen tasks: paring, serrated slicing, Santoku-style chopping, chef’s work and bread cutting.
The knives feature Japanese stainless-steel blades that balance edge retention and corrosion resistance for reliable performance. Ergonomically weighted handles give comfortable control and incorporate an integrated rest that prevents the cutting edge from touching the worktop, reducing mess and cross-contamination. The slimline block stores knives safely while occupying minimal counter space and the removable two-stage ceramic sharpener maintains cutting performance without removing the knives from the block.
Select the appropriate knife for the task, hold the ergonomic handle firmly and work on a stable cutting board. Use the paring knife for small precision tasks, the serrated knife for soft or crusty items, the Santoku for thin slicing and chopping, the chef’s knife for general preparation and the bread knife for slicing loaves. After use, hand wash blades and handles with warm water and mild detergent, dry thoroughly, and return knives to their slots in the block. Use the removable ceramic sharpener in the block base to refresh edges following the manufacturer’s sharpening guidance.
To preserve edge life, avoid cutting on very hard surfaces such as ceramic plates or glass and do not use knives to cut frozen food or as implements for prying. Regularly clean and dry knives after use, and periodically run a few gentle passes through the two-stage ceramic sharpener to maintain a keen edge. Store knives in the block to keep blades protected and to reduce countertop contact.
