Masonry chisel JUCO 35359, length 250 mm, weight 560 g, single pack
JUCO 35359 masonry chisel is a hand tool designed for chiselling, shaping and light demolition of masonry and concrete. With an overall length of 250 mm and a weight of 560 g, this single-pack chisel is suited for manual work in renovation and construction tasks such as removing mortar, cleaning joints and detailing brick or block surfaces. The working part is made of lacquered forged steel and has been induction hardened for improved wear resistance, while the PVC-covered handle provides a secure grip during extended use.
The compact 250 mm length offers good control and access in confined spaces where larger tools are impractical. The induction-hardened forged steel tip increases edge retention and resistance to chipping when striking masonry and concrete. The PVC-covered handle improves ergonomics and reduces hand fatigue compared with bare-metal handles, making the chisel suitable for repeated manual use. Supplied as a single unit, the tool is ready for immediate use on site.
Hold the chisel with the PVC-covered handle and position the hardened cutting edge against the masonry at the required angle. Use a suitable hammer to apply controlled strikes to the chisel head, working progressively to remove mortar or shape material. For joint cleaning, work along the joint line with short, controlled taps. For small demolition or piercing, start with light blows and increase force as needed while maintaining control. Inspect the cutting edge regularly and avoid using the tool on materials harder than its design allows to prevent damage.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection. Store the chisel in a dry place and protect the hardened edge from impacts when not in use. Sharpen or dress the cutting edge as required by light grinding—follow safe grinding practices.
