Masonry chisel JUCO 35364 — 400 mm length, 1 kg weight, single piece
Masonry chisel JUCO 35364 is a single-piece hand tool designed for cutting, shaping and removing mortar, brick and natural stone. The tool measures 400 mm in length and weighs 1 kg, providing a balance between reach and control for manual masonry work. The working section is made of lacquered forged steel with induction hardening for improved edge life, and the handle is fitted with a PVC sleeve to improve grip and ergonomics. The chisel is intended for use with hammer strikes and is supplied one piece per pack.
The lacquered forged steel working part with induction hardening increases wear resistance and maintains a cutting edge under repeated hammer impact. The 400 mm length gives extended reach for joint removal and deeper cuts while keeping the tool manageable for one-handed positioning. The PVC-covered handle improves grip comfort and reduces slippage during use. Supplied as a single piece, the tool is ready for immediate use on site.
Position the masonry chisel on the area to be cut or removed with the beveled edge against the mortar, brick or stone. Hold the PVC-covered handle firmly and strike the end of the chisel with an appropriate hammer to drive the cutting edge into the material. For joint removal, work along the joint in controlled increments to avoid damaging adjacent masonry. For trimming or dressing bricks and stone, use measured blows and adjust the angle of the chisel to control the depth of cut. After use, inspect the cutting edge and clean off debris; store the tool in a dry place to avoid corrosion.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection. Select a hammer with compatible mass and strike force for a 1 kg masonry chisel; avoid excessive side loads and bending to preserve the hardened cutting edge. Regularly check for chipping or deformation of the working edge and replace the tool if significant damage is present.
