Masonry chisel JUCO 35372, length 200 mm, weight 250 g, single piece
Masonry chisel JUCO 35372 is a hand tool designed for cutting, dressing and trimming masonry and natural stone. The chisel measures 200 mm in overall length and has a working weight of approximately 250 g. Supplied as a single piece, it is intended for precision chiselling tasks such as removing mortar, cleaning joints, shaping bricks, blocks or stone and for light demolition and restoration work.
The chisel's compact 200 mm length provides good control and access in tight spaces while the 250 g weight balances usability with reduced fatigue during repeated manual use. As a single-piece supply it is convenient for occasional replacement or for keeping one tool per worker. The tool is suitable for fine dressing and targeted removal of material without the need for power tools.
Hold the chisel by the handle or shaft with a firm grip and position the cutting edge against the mortar, joint or masonry surface to be dressed. Strike the blunt end of the chisel with an appropriate hammer to remove material in controlled blows, working progressively and keeping the chisel angle suited to the desired cut. For cleaning joints, use shallow, repeated strikes and move the chisel along the joint. For shaping or trimming stone, work gradually and inspect progress frequently to avoid over-cutting.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety goggles, gloves and hearing protection when striking the chisel. Choose a hammer with a head mass suitable for the task to maintain control. Keep the cutting edge clean and periodically inspect for wear or damage; replace the tool if the blade is significantly deformed or cracked.
