Masonry chisel JUCO 35376, length 400 mm, weight 900 g, 1 pc
JUCO 35376 masonry chisel is a single-piece hand tool intended for cutting, shaping and removing mortar, stone or similar materials during construction and renovation. The tool is 400 mm long and has a mass of 900 g, supplied as a single unit per pack. It is designed to be struck with a hammer for tasks such as masonry removal, joint chiseling, demolition of small sections and surface preparation on masonry elements.
The one-piece construction provides structural rigidity and reduces the risk of separation between head and shaft. At 400 mm length the chisel gives comfortable reach and control for manual work while the 900 g weight offers sufficient striking mass for effective material removal. Supplied as a single piece, the tool is ready for immediate use on-site.
Position the chisel edge against the mortar, stone or material to be removed and hold the shaft firmly. Strike the blunt end with a suitable hammer in controlled blows, advancing along the work area to remove material or shape the surface. For joint work, align the chisel with the joint and take care to keep the angle consistent to avoid damaging adjacent masonry. Wear appropriate eye, hand and respiratory protection when working with masonry dust and fragments.
Use the chisel with a hammer designed for masonry work and inspect the tool for visible damage before each use. Maintain the chisel edge by light dressing if necessary and store in a dry place to prevent corrosion. Avoid using the tool on hardened steel or materials for which it is not intended.
