The Santoku features a 16.5 cm blade made from corrosion-resistant 6A/1K6 steel with a hardness of approximately 56 (±1) HRC, providing long-lasting sharpness and reliable cutting performance. The polished blade profile and slightly arched back enable controlled rocking and slicing motions. The water-resistant plastic handle with bamboo powder offers a secure, comfortable grip and simple maintenance.
Hold the Santoku by the handle with a secure pinch grip near the blade for precise control. Use a gentle rocking or forward slicing motion depending on the task: short, controlled chops for herbs and quick slices for vegetables and proteins.
