Lens cap KAISER 6833 for digital camera, plastic, diameter 4.9 cm, black
Lens cap KAISER 6833 for digital camera, plastic, diameter 4.9 cm, black
KAISER 6833 lens cap for digital camera is a protective front cap made of durable black plastic with an outer diameter of 4.9 cm. It is engineered to shield the front element of compatible lenses from dust, scratches and stray light when the camera is not in use. The cap attaches to the lens via the filter thread and features a reduced outside diameter so it can be used together with bayonet-mounted lens hoods. Lightweight construction makes it convenient for everyday photography and transport.
The lens cap offers secure clamping fixtures that hold the cap in place on the filter thread and spacious internal push-buttons that simplify attachment and removal even when wearing gloves. A cap-attached cord reduces the risk of loss by allowing the cap to remain connected to the camera or strap. The reduced external profile ensures compatibility with many bayonet lens hoods while the plastic material provides reliable impact resistance and low weight.
To attach the lens cap, align it with the lens filter thread and press the internal push-buttons while sliding the cap onto the thread until it securely clamps. To remove the cap, press the push-buttons and pull the cap straight off. Use the attached cord to secure the cap to the camera body, strap or lens hood to prevent accidental loss when the cap is removed.
Store the lens cap on the camera or attached by the cord while shooting to avoid misplacement. Clean the cap occasionally with a soft cloth to remove grit that could transfer to the lens surface. Replace the cap immediately after use to maintain protection against dust and scratches.
