Lens cap KAISER 6834 for digital camera, plastic, diameter 5.2 cm, black
Lens cap KAISER 6834 for digital camera, plastic, diameter 5.2 cm, black
KAISER 6834 lens cap for digital cameras is a lightweight plastic protective cover with a 5.2 cm outer diameter and black finish. It is designed to shield the front element of compatible lenses from dust, scratches and stray light when the camera is not in use. The cap features a reduced outside diameter to allow use together with bayonet-mounted lens hoods and includes a cap-attached cord to help prevent loss.
The cap provides a secure halt on the lens by means of clamping fixtures and spacious inside push-buttons for easy attachment and removal. Its plastic construction keeps weight to a minimum while maintaining basic impact and scratch protection. The design mounts to the lens filter thread and the reduced external diameter means compatibility with many bayonet-style lens hoods.
Align the cap with the lens front and press the inside push-buttons while placing the cap over the filter thread until the clamping fixtures engage. To remove, press the push-buttons and pull the cap straight off. Use the attached cord to secure the cap to the camera body or strap to reduce the risk of misplacement during shooting or transport.
Store the cap on the lens whenever the camera is not actively in use to minimise dust accumulation and protect the front element from incidental contact. Periodically clean the cap with a soft cloth to avoid transferring grit to the lens surface.
