Lens cap KAISER 6840 for digital camera, plastic, diameter 7.7 cm, black
Lens cap KAISER 6840 for digital camera, plastic, diameter 7.7 cm, black
KAISER 6840 lens cap is a protective front cap designed for digital camera lenses with a 7.7 cm diameter. Made from durable black plastic, it shields the front element from dust, scratches and incidental light exposure when the camera is not in use or during transport. The cap is lightweight, easy to attach and remove, and includes design features that make it compatible with common lens accessories.
The cap features clamping fixtures that provide a secure hold on the lens and spacious internal push-buttons for convenient one-handed operation. It mounts to the lens filter thread and has a reduced outside diameter so it can be used together with bayonet-mounted lens hoods. An attached cord helps prevent accidental loss while handling or storing the camera.
Align the cap with the lens front and gently press until the clamping fixtures engage the filter thread. Use the spacious internal push-buttons to release the cap when removing it. The attached cord can be tied or clipped to the camera body or strap to reduce risk of loss during use. Ensure the lens surfaces are clean before fitting the cap to avoid trapping particles against the glass.
Store the cap on the lens whenever the camera is not in use to minimize exposure to dust and potential scratches; check the fit regularly and clean both cap and lens edges with a soft cloth to maintain secure attachment.
