Lens cap KAISER 6845 for digital camera, plastic, diameter 3.7 cm, black
Lens cap KAISER 6845 for digital camera, plastic, diameter 3.7 cm, black
KAISER 6845 lens cap is a lightweight protective cover for digital camera lenses and adapters with a 3.7 cm diameter filter thread. Molded from black plastic, the cap shields the front element from dust, scratches and stray light when the lens is not in use. Its reduced outside diameter allows compatibility with bayonet-mounted lens hoods while remaining compact and easy to store in a camera bag.
The lens cap features clamping fixtures for a secure hold on the lens and spacious inside push-buttons that make attachment and removal quick and reliable. A cap-attached cord reduces the risk of loss during field use. The reduced outer diameter ensures the cap can be used together with bayonet-mounted lens hoods without interference.
Align the cap with the lens filter thread, squeeze the inside push-buttons to retract the clamping fixtures, place the cap over the front element and release the buttons to engage the clamp. To remove, squeeze the push-buttons and pull the cap away from the lens. Use the attached cord to secure the cap to the camera or strap to keep it available and prevent accidental loss.
For best protection, attach the KAISER 6845 lens cap whenever the lens is not mounted on a camera or when storing lenses in a bag. Avoid exposing the plastic to extreme heat for extended periods, and periodically check the clamping mechanism and cord for wear.
