How to use

Screw the filter onto the front of any lens with a 95 mm thread. Rotate the outer ring while looking through the viewfinder or LCD until reflections are reduced and the desired level of polarization is achieved. For maximum sky darkening and cloud contrast, position the camera so the sun is at approximately a right angle to the lens axis and adjust the filter at a 30–40° angle relative to reflective surfaces. When composing and exposing, set the polariser first and then adjust exposure settings as the filter reduces the amount of light reaching the sensor.

Usage recommendations

Use the polariser primarily outdoors in bright or partly cloudy conditions. Avoid relying on it at noon when the sun is directly overhead, as polarization effects are weakest near 90° to the sun. When shooting wide-angle lenses, be aware that strong polarization can produce uneven sky tones; adjust framing or use graduated filters if necessary. Clean the filter surface with a microfiber cloth before use and store it in a protective case when not attached to the lens.
