Neutral Density (ND) Filter K&F Concept Nano-C HMC Fader ND2–400 67mm
The K&F Concept KV34 Slim variable ND filter provides adjustable light reduction from ND2 up to ND400, enabling long exposures and wider apertures in bright conditions. Made from optical glass with double-sided multi-layer blue Nano-C HMC coatings, the filter preserves image quality, reduces reflections and is water-resistant. A super-light CNC aluminium ring and a 7.3 mm slim frame minimize weight and bulk, keeping lens balance when using a tripod.
Screw the 67 mm filter into the lens thread until secure. Rotate the filter ring to adjust density smoothly between ND2 and ND400 while monitoring exposure and histogram. Use a tripod for long exposures, set appropriate shutter speed and aperture, and check for any vignetting or cross-polarization effects at extreme settings. Clean the coated glass with a soft microfiber cloth and lens-safe cleaner to preserve coatings.
For best results, compose and focus before dialing in heavy ND settings, then switch to manual focus to avoid hunting. Start with modest reductions and increase density until the desired motion blur or exposure time is reached. When shooting very long exposures, use a remote release or camera timer and enable long exposure noise reduction if needed.
