Filter 3-in-1 K&F 67mm — Fader ND2–32, CPL, Black Diffusion 1/4
The K&F 3-in-1 67mm hybrid filter combines three optical functions — variable fader neutral density (ND2–32), circular polarizer (CPL) and Black Diffusion 1/4 — in a single 67 mm threaded unit suitable for compatible camera lenses. This compact combination filter allows controlled light reduction for longer exposures, suppression of unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces, and subtle diffusion to soften highlights. The design keeps mounting simple and maintains standard front threading for additional accessories.
This three-in-one solution reduces the need to carry multiple separate filters by integrating variable ND, CPL and diffusion capabilities in a single 67 mm filter. The variable fader ND offers smooth attenuation from approximately 1 to 5 stops, enabling adjustment of shutter speed and aperture for creative motion blur and exposure control. The CPL reduces glare and increases color saturation in skies and foliage without altering exposure when used appropriately. The Black Diffusion 1/4 provides mild softening of highlights and skin tones, useful for portrait and cinematic work while preserving overall image detail.
Screw the filter onto the front of a compatible 67 mm lens until snug, taking care not to cross-thread. To adjust the neutral density level, rotate the fader element until the desired exposure reduction is reached; use a light meter or camera exposure preview to confirm settings. Rotate the polarizer element to minimize reflections and increase contrast — view the effect through the viewfinder or live view while turning the CPL. Use the diffusion element in combination with the CPL and ND as needed to soften highlights; experiment with different ND settings to balance exposure and motion effects.
When using the variable ND at high density, check for vignetting on wide-angle lenses and uneven color cast on extreme settings; stop down slightly or use a narrower ND setting if visible. Clean the filter surfaces with a soft microfiber cloth and appropriate lens cleaner to preserve coatings. Store the filter in a protective case when not in use to avoid scratches and maintain consistent optical performance.
