Camera Lens Filter K&F Blue Streak Anamorphic Nano-X MRC 49mm
Camera Lens Filter K&F Blue Streak Anamorphic Nano-X MRC 49mm
The K&F Blue Streak Anamorphic Nano-X MRC 49mm is a screw-in lens filter for lenses with a 49mm thread that produces horizontal light streaks and a characteristic anamorphic bokeh. Designed for photographers and videographers who want cinematic flare and widened visual character without adapting an anamorphic lens, this filter combines optical shaping with surface treatments to control stray reflections and simplify maintenance.
This anamorphic filter creates pronounced horizontal flares and oval bokeh while keeping center sharpness intact. Its Nano-X multi-resistant coating (MRC) reduces internal reflections, ghosting and unwanted color casts, and also makes the glass easier to clean by resisting oils and moisture. The slim metal frame minimizes vignetting on wide-angle lenses and provides secure threaded mounting on any 49mm front element.
Screw the filter onto the front of any lens with a 49mm thread until it is seated firmly but not overtightened. Compose and focus as usual; the anamorphic streaks appear when strong light sources or specular highlights enter the frame, producing horizontal flare and modified out-of-focus highlights. For video, test aperture, exposure and light placement to control the intensity and length of streaks. Clean the coated surface with a microfiber cloth and suitable lens cleaner to maintain optical performance.
Use the filter with point or directional light sources for the strongest horizontal streaks; stop down slightly if flares overpower the subject, or move the light source to change streak length and brightness. When shooting wide-angle, check for vignetting and consider the slim frame design, and always store the filter in a protective case to preserve the Nano-X coating.
