UV (Ultraviolet) Filter K&F Nano-X MRC 46 mm — 46mm Thread, Slim Mount
The K&F Nano-X MRC 46 mm UV Filter is an ultraviolet protection filter engineered for cameras with a 46 mm thread. It reduces UV haze and helps maintain true color rendition in outdoor photography while offering a protective barrier for the front element of compatible lenses. The filter features a slim mount designed to reduce vignetting on wide-angle lenses and a multi-resistant coating (MRC) that improves light transmission and resists fingerprints, dust and moisture.
This UV filter provides consistent attenuation of ultraviolet light to minimize bluish cast and atmospheric haze in daylight shooting. The multi-resistant coating enhances image clarity by reducing reflections and flare while making the glass easier to clean. The slim-profile mount lowers the risk of mechanical vignetting on wide-angle optics and keeps the filter lightweight so it does not significantly alter the lens balance. The threaded construction ensures secure attachment and straightforward compatibility with lenses that use a 46 mm front thread.
Align the filter’s threads with the lens front thread and rotate gently clockwise until hand-tight; avoid overtightening to prevent the filter becoming stuck. For removal, rotate counterclockwise while supporting the lens. Clean the coated glass with a soft microfiber cloth and appropriate lens cleaner to remove fingerprints or dust. When shooting with wide-angle lenses, confirm there is no vignetting by checking the corners of test images and, if necessary, use the slim mount orientation to ensure optimal coverage.
Store the filter in its protective case when not in use to prevent scratches. Use the UV filter primarily as a protective element for the front lens surface and for mild UV haze reduction in daylight conditions; it is not a substitute for corrective filters when dramatic color or exposure changes are required.
