UV Filter K&F Nano-X MRC 77 mm – Ultraviolet Protective Camera Lens Filter
The K&F Nano-X MRC 77 mm UV filter is an ultraviolet protective camera lens filter engineered to reduce UV haze, shield the front element and help maintain image clarity. Designed for lenses with a 77 mm filter thread, this UV filter uses multi-resistant coating (MRC) to minimise reflections and simplify cleaning, while providing physical protection against dust, moisture and minor impacts. The slim profile preserves the field of view on wide-angle lenses and maintains autofocus and exposure performance without introducing colour casts.
The MRC (multi-resistant coating) reduces ghosting and flare by lowering surface reflections and makes the glass easier to wipe clean. The UV glass filters high-frequency ultraviolet light that can cause haziness in outdoor and high-altitude shooting, which supports clearer, crisper images in daylight conditions. The filter also acts as a sacrificial protective element for the lens front, preventing scratches, fingerprints and contaminants from reaching the lens coating.
Screw the filter gently onto the lens front thread until it seats firmly without overtightening. Use the filter when shooting outdoors in daylight, particularly in bright, high-altitude or hazy environments to reduce UV haze. The filter can remain on the lens as a protective element during normal use, and it does not require adjustments to camera settings. Clean the coated surfaces with a soft microfiber cloth and appropriate lens cleaning solution to preserve the coating performance.
For best optical results, keep the filter clean and avoid touching the glass with bare fingers. When using wide-angle lenses, confirm the slim profile prevents vignetting; if any vignetting occurs at extreme focal lengths, consider a thinner filter or remove the filter for those specific shots.
