Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector Kidde KID-10LLDCO
Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector Kidde KID-10LLDCO
The Kidde KID-10LLDCO is a battery-powered wireless smoke and carbon monoxide detector designed for residential use. It combines smoke sensing and CO detection in a compact housing with dimensions of 118 mm height, 70 mm width and 40 mm depth. CE certified and compatible for interconnection with other Kidde devices, this detector provides combined sensing to improve overall home safety.
The unit integrates photoelectric smoke sensing and an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor within a single device to monitor both hazards without separate installations. Its battery-powered design allows flexible placement without the need for hardwiring, while wireless interconnect capability enables coordinated alarm signalling across compatible Kidde units. Compact dimensions make the detector suitable for ceiling or wall mounting in locations with limited space.
Install the Kidde KID-10LLDCO on a ceiling or high on a wall following the manufacturer’s mounting instructions and local regulations for smoke and CO detector placement. Insert fresh batteries before initial use and perform the accepted power-up checks indicated by the device (visual or audible signals). Test the alarm after installation using the test button to verify both smoke and CO sensing functions and, if used, establish wireless interconnection with other compatible Kidde units according to the interconnect pairing procedure.
Place detectors on every level of the home, outside sleeping areas and inside bedrooms where required. Avoid installing the detector too close to cooking appliances or heating vents to reduce false alarms, and do not paint the device. Replace batteries at intervals recommended by the manufacturer and test the detector regularly to ensure reliable operation.
