The Jata 721 kitchen scales provide precise measurements up to a maximum capacity of 5 kg. Designed for everyday cooking and baking, the scales feature a stainless steel platform, easy-to-read backlit LCD display and a tare (net weight) function to measure ingredients accurately. Conversion between grams, millilitres and imperial units is available, and the compact unit can be wall-mounted if desired. The scales operate on three 1.5 V AAA batteries (not included).

How to use

Place the scales on a flat, stable surface and insert three 1.5 V AAA batteries. Press the power button to turn on the unit and wait for the display to zero. Place a bowl or container on the stainless steel platform and use the tare function to reset the display to zero before adding ingredients. Select the desired unit (g, ml, oz:lb) using the unit conversion button. After use, switch off the scales to conserve battery life.

Usage recommendations

For best accuracy, use the scales on a level surface, avoid vibrations and do not exceed the 5 kg capacity. Clean the stainless steel platform with a damp cloth and avoid immersing the scales in water. Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears.
