Abrasive flap disc KLINGSPOR CS 561 125×22 mm grit 150 (MPN 11019)
Abrasive flap disc KLINGSPOR CS 561 125×22 mm grit 150 is designed for surface grinding, material removal and finishing on metals and other hard surfaces. The disc combines overlapping abrasive flaps on a stable backing to deliver even stock removal, controlled surface blending and a uniform finish. It is intended for use on angle grinders that accept a 22 mm bore and provides a balance between cutting aggressiveness and surface refinement thanks to the 150 grit abrasive.
This flap disc offers extended life through multiple overlapping flaps that expose fresh abrasive as the disc wears. The construction ensures consistent performance and reduces vibration compared with single-layer abrasives. The medium-fine 150 grit provides controlled material removal while leaving a finish that is suitable for subsequent welding, painting or polishing operations. The stable backing maintains disc shape during use for predictable results.
Mount the flap disc on a compatible angle grinder with a 22 mm bore, following the grinder manufacturer’s mounting and safety instructions. Operate the grinder at the recommended speed range for the disc and apply light, even pressure to avoid overheating or excessive removal. Move the disc across the workpiece with steady passes, allowing the flaps to work progressively. Replace the disc when the abrasive is worn down or performance declines.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, gloves and a dust mask or respirator when working with metal and abrasive dust. For best results on stainless steel, use moderate pressure and keep the disc moving to reduce heat build-up. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and follow the grinder’s maximum RPM rating.
