Waterproof Sandpaper Sheets KLINGSPOR PS 8A/C grit 2500, pack of 50
KLINGSPOR PS 8A/C waterproof sandpaper sheets in grit 2500, pack of 50, are designed for very fine wet or dry sanding and polishing. These abrasive sheets provide a high-density abrasive surface that enables uniform material removal and precise finishing on metal, paint, varnish and other coated surfaces. The thin, waterproof backing allows use with water or light lubricants to reduce clogging and improve surface quality, while compatibility with hand sanding and sanding blocks ensures control during delicate finishing tasks.
High grit density and uniform abrasive distribution deliver consistent, fine abrasion suitable for precision work. The waterproof backing resists moisture and permits wet sanding, which helps minimize dust and heat while extending abrasive life. Sheets are thin and flexible for good contact on curved or contoured surfaces and are supplied in a pack of 50 for economical replacement during repeated finishing operations.
Select an appropriate sanding block or hold the sheet by hand to achieve even pressure. For wet sanding, submerge the sheet briefly in water or use a water spray to keep the surface lubricated; for dry sanding work lightly to avoid overheating the substrate. Move the sheet with smooth, overlapping strokes along the surface and check progress frequently to avoid removing too much material. Replace sheets when abrasive performance decreases or the sheet becomes clogged.
For best results on painted or varnished surfaces, begin with lower abrasive values to correct major defects, then finish with the KLINGSPOR PS 8A/C grit 2500 sheets for final smoothing and polishing. Use wet sanding where possible to reduce dust and achieve a finer finish; always test on a small area to confirm compatibility with the substrate and coating.
