Cutting Disc KLINGSPOR 400 x 3.2 x 25.4 mm for Metal, A630N Special (MPN 353328)
KLINGSPOR 400 x 3.2 x 25.4 mm cutting disc A630N Special is a bonded abrasive wheel engineered for precision cutting of steel and other ferrous metals. Designed for use on large stationary and portable cutting machines, the 400 mm diameter and 3.2 mm thin kerf deliver fast through‑cuts on structural steel, profiles, pipes and sheet metal. The reinforced construction provides stability and predictable cutting performance for professional metalworking and construction applications.
The disc combines a thin cutting thickness with a large diameter to increase cutting speed and reduce material loss. A630N Special abrasive formulation offers consistent cutting action and wear resistance when used on carbon and alloy steels. The reinforced bond reduces vibration and improves wheel life under normal operating conditions. The 25.4 mm bore fits standard flanges on many industrial cutting machines.
Install the cutting disc on a compatible cutting machine using the correct flange and tighten according to the machine manufacturer’s torque recommendations. Use appropriate machine guards and ensure the disc is rated for the machine’s maximum RPM. Position the workpiece securely and feed at a steady, even speed to allow the disc to cut without excessive force. Allow the disc to complete the cut with minimal side pressure and avoid twisting or bending the wheel during operation.
Always wear suitable personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection, gloves and protective clothing. Check the disc for damage before each use and do not use if cracked, chipped or otherwise compromised. Match disc speed rating to the machine’s operating speed and follow workplace safety regulations for cutting operations.
