The Knipex 12 12 02 cable stripper is a precision tool for form-fit stripping of cable insulation, including difficult-to-remove materials such as PTFE, silicone, Radox®, Kapton® and rubber, and it is suitable for multilayer cables. The tool has a replaceable shaped blade matched to the conductor cross-section and a length stop for consistent stripping length. A second pair of blades holds the remaining insulation securely while a cable guide ensures exact positioning in the stripping area. The pliers body is made of steel and the blade is oil‑hardened special tool steel.
