Needle-nose pliers Knipex 31 25 160
Needle-nose pliers Knipex 31 25 160 are precision pliers with extra-long, narrow jaws designed for exact assembly, bending and adjustment tasks in confined spaces. The jaws measure 55.0 mm in length with a jaw width of 2.5 mm; the overall tool length is 160 mm and the pliers weigh approximately 123 g. Forged from chrome vanadium electric steel and oil-hardened, they provide a durable, slim profile for fine work.
The pliers offer very fine gripping capability thanks to smooth ground gripping surfaces and a narrow jaw profile. Edges are carefully deburred to reduce the risk of damage to delicate components. The forged, oil-hardened chrome vanadium steel construction ensures strength and long service life while keeping the tool lightweight and easy to handle.
Use the needle-nose pliers to hold, bend or position small parts by placing the workpiece between the tips of the jaws and applying controlled pressure. For bending or shaping wire, position the wire close to the jaw hinge for greater leverage or nearer the tips for finer control. Keep the pliers clean and dry after use and avoid applying excessive torque beyond the tool's intended precision tasks.
For safe and accurate results, use these precision needle-nose pliers on small, soft or thin materials; avoid cutting hardened wire unless the tool is specifically rated for cutting. Store the pliers in a dry place and inspect the jaws regularly for wear or deformation.
