How to use

Place the pliers on the workpiece and press the adjustment button to set the jaw position directly on the workpiece. Use the fine adjustment to select the jaw gap that gives a secure grip without excessive force. When working on pipes or nuts the pliers will self-lock to maintain grip; apply turning force through the handles while controlling the grip. After use, release the button and move the jaws to the parked position.

Usage recommendations

For longest service life, avoid using the pliers as a hammer or for cutting. Keep the tool clean and lightly lubricated at the joint; inspect the gripping teeth periodically and replace the tool if teeth are severely worn or damaged.
