Compact film camera Kodak M35 35 mm ISO 200-400 31 mm Red
Compact film camera Kodak M35 35 mm ISO 200-400 31 mm Red
The Kodak M35 is a compact reusable 35 mm film camera with a fixed-focus 31 mm lens and a shutter speed of 1/120 s. Designed for ISO 200–400 film, it offers manual film winding and rewinding plus a flash with On/Off switch. The camera is lightweight and portable, available in red, and intended for straightforward casual photography.
The Kodak M35 combines simple mechanical operation with a fixed-focus lens for quick point-and-shoot use. Its compatibility with standard 35 mm film (ISO 200–400) and manual winding mechanism give users control over the shooting process while the built-in flash supports low-light situations. The camera’s compact size and 0.143 kg weight make it easy to carry.
Open the back of the camera and load a roll of 35 mm film following the film leader alignment marks. Close the back, advance the film by winding the film advance lever until it stops, and set the ISO by selecting an appropriate film (ISO 200–400). Compose your shot using the viewfinder, press the shutter to take a photo, and advance the film between exposures. Use the flash On/Off switch when additional light is required. After finishing the roll, rewind the film manually before opening the camera to remove the processed roll for development.
Use ISO 200 film for daylight and well-lit conditions and ISO 400 for indoor or lower-light situations. Maintain a minimum subject distance of about 1 m due to the fixed-focus lens, and avoid extreme backlighting to reduce silhouette effects. Handle film and the camera gently to prevent light leaks and mechanical damage.
