The König & Meyer 21368 Ring Lock distance rod is a height-adjustable connection rod designed to securely join satellite speakers to a subwoofer. Constructed in a robust black finish and weighing approximately 3.15 kg, the rod uses an M20 threaded bolt for attachment to the subwoofer and a patented expanding mandrel system to hold satellite speakers firmly in place. Height is set with a spring-loaded bolt and locking screw, while movable plastic splints reduce vibration and a ring lock enables quick speaker mounting.
The distance rod offers a stable, vibration-minimised connection between subwoofer and satellite thanks to its expanding mandrel and plastic splints. Height adjustment is simple and tool-free via a spring-loaded bolt and locking screw, and the M20 threaded bolt ensures a secure subwoofer attachment. The ring lock mechanism allows quick and reliable speaker mounting.
Insert the M20 threaded bolt into the subwoofer’s corresponding socket and tighten securely. Adjust the rod height by releasing the spring-loaded bolt, setting the desired height and retightening the locking screw. Mount the satellite speaker onto the rod using the ring lock: place the ring lock in position and screw it on until the speaker is held firmly by the expanding mandrel and movable plastic splints.
Ensure the M20 thread on your subwoofer matches the rod before installation. Tighten all fastenings securely and check connections regularly during use to maintain a stable, vibration-free setup.
