Engine Generator Könner & Söhnen KS 8100iEG 8000 W 20 L LPG Petrol
The Könner & Söhnen KS 8100iEG is a dual-fuel inverter generator that delivers a rated output of 8000 W and is designed for reliable, efficient portable power. It accepts both LPG and petrol, and includes a 20 L fuel tank for extended petrol runtime. The generator integrates a microprocessor-controlled inverter to provide a pure sine wave 230 V, 50 Hz output suitable for sensitive electronics, and features a robust brushless alternator with copper winding for long-term operation. The unit weighs 68 kg and has a compact footprint (505 mm width, 765 mm depth), and the package contains an LPG hose and reducer for immediate gas connection.
The KS 8100iEG combines dual-fuel flexibility with inverter technology to deliver stable voltage and frequency under varying loads. Its EURO V–compliant engine and brushless alternator are engineered for durability, while Economy mode reduces fuel consumption at light loads by lowering engine speed. The control panel groups monitoring and protection features—multifunction LED display (hour meter, voltage, frequency), overload and short-circuit protection, low-oil sensor and reset function—together with USB outputs and sockets for straightforward operation. A transportation kit with wheels and a handle improves mobility.
Before use, place the generator on a level, well-ventilated surface outdoors and check oil and fuel levels. For LPG operation, connect the supplied 1.5 m hose and reducer to a compatible cylinder or certified stationary gas system following local regulations and ensure the supply pressure does not exceed recommended limits. Start the engine using the 3-in-1 starter (fuel valve, choke and electric start) and monitor the multifunction display for voltage, frequency and operating hours. Select Economy mode when running light loads to reduce fuel consumption. Observe overload and low-oil indicators and stop the engine before performing maintenance or refuelling.
Use the generator outdoors only in a well-ventilated area to avoid exhaust buildup. When connecting to a stationary gas supply or performing installation work on gas lines, engage a certified technician. Regularly check and maintain oil levels, air filter and spark plug according to the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule, and use the Economy mode for prolonged light-load operation to maximize fuel efficiency and engine life.
