Product information

Description

Thermal Paper Kores TR5850 50 m is a thermal roll designed for receipt and label printers that use direct thermal technology. The roll measures 58 mm in width and has a total length of 50 meters, with a core diameter of approximately 6.3 cm. With a paper weight of 55 g/m², this thermal paper produces clear, sharp text and images suitable for point-of-sale receipts, transaction records, and short-term labeling applications.

Advantages

This thermal paper offers consistent print quality and good contrast on direct thermal printers, delivering legible receipts and precise barcode reproduction. The 50-meter length balances roll size and replacement frequency for medium-usage environments. The 58 mm width matches common cashier and receipt printer formats, while the 55 g/m² weight provides reliable handling and feeding through most thermal mechanisms.

Suitable for

  • Retail and point-of-sale receipt printing
  • Payment terminals and cash registers
  • Printing transaction records and short-term labels
  • Barcode and QR code receipts for scanning

Key specifications

  • Paper type: direct thermal paper
  • Width: 58 mm
  • Length: 50 m
  • Core diameter: 6.3 cm (approx.)
  • Paper weight: 55 g/m²

How to use

Load the thermal roll into the printer following the printer manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the thermal-coated side faces the print head. Feed the paper through the cutter or exit slot and close the printer cover. Use printer settings optimized for direct thermal media to achieve the best contrast and dot clarity. Store unused rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources to preserve paper sensitivity.

Usage recommendations

For optimal longevity of printed receipts, avoid exposing printed surfaces to prolonged sunlight, high temperatures, or chemical solvents. Use the paper within recommended temperature ranges and replace rolls when signs of fading or smudging appear to maintain scan reliability and readability.
