HDMI Switcher Kramer Electronics SWT3-41-H 4K 60Hz 18Gbps
The Kramer SWT3-41-H is a 4x1 4K60 HDMI switcher that supports HDMI 2.0 video signals up to 3840 x 2160@60Hz (4:4:4) and 18 Gbit/s bandwidth. It provides automatic input selection (priority or last-connected) based on active signal detection, multi-channel audio handling, audio de-embedding to balanced stereo analog output, and remote IP control. The unit includes HDCP 2.2 compliance, intelligent EDID management, PoE powering via the LAN port, and a compact, fanless enclosure suitable for table or rack mounting.
The switcher offers automatic and manual switching modes to match different use cases, intelligent EDID processing for reliable plug-and-play operation, and support for up to 32 channels of uncompressed digital audio for studio-grade surround sound. Built-in IP control and an integrated control gateway (RS-232 and I/O) remove the need for an external gateway and simplify integration with control systems. Additional benefits include HDCP 2.2 support, audio de-embedding to balanced analog outputs for local audio systems, 802.1x IT-grade authentication for secure LAN operation, and PoE for simplified installation.
Connect up to four HDMI sources to the inputs and a display to the HDMI output. Configure the preferred auto-switching behavior (priority or last-connected) using the front panel buttons, web interface, or serial commands. If required, connect the balanced analog audio output to a local audio system to play de-embedded audio in parallel with the HDMI output audio. Use PoE via the LAN port or the supplied 5V adapter for power. Use the built-in web page or RS-232/Protocol 3000 API for remote control and integration with external control systems.
For reliable operation, ensure connected displays and sources support the intended resolution and HDCP version; when integrating with control systems, test EDID settings and network authentication (802.1x) during installation. Place the unit where panel controls and audio outputs are accessible, and consider side-by-side rack mounting (two units in 1U) with the recommended rack adapter if deploying multiple devices.
