Masonry drill bit KWB 052640
The KWB 052640 masonry drill bit is designed for drilling into hard materials including granite, gneiss, slate, basalt and concrete, and can also be used on glass, ceramics and roof tiles. Built to ISO 5468 standards, it features a diamond-cut special carbide tip with a high tungsten carbide content and a homogeneous, fine-grained structure. The tip angle is 120° and the drill has an asymmetric spiral for efficient removal of dry drill cuttings. The bit is finished in green and supplied as a single piece suitable for battery-powered and corded machines.
The diamond-cut special carbide cutting edge increases wear resistance and maintains a precise tip profile for long-lasting drilling performance. The asymmetrical spiral improves evacuation of dry dust, reducing clogging, while the high contact pressure and recommended rotational speed range of 800–1,000 rpm (without impact) provides controlled material removal in very hard substrates. Compatibility with battery and wired drills offers flexibility on job sites.
Mark the drilling position and secure the workpiece if possible. Select a drill or driver capable of the recommended rotational speed and switch off impact mode. Start drilling at low speed to establish the hole, then increase to within the recommended 800–1,000 rpm range while maintaining steady pressure. Use moderate, consistent force—allow the bit to cut without excessive side load. Clear accumulated dust periodically by withdrawing the bit slightly during drilling or pausing to remove debris.
Для оптимальной долговечности сверло применяйте на твердом материале без ударного режима, контролируйте скорость 800–1 000 об/мин и периодически очищайте от пыли; избегайте боковых нагрузок и перегрева.
