Masonry drill bit KWB 052650
The KWB 052650 masonry drill bit is a specialist tool for drilling in the hardest stones and hard building materials. Manufactured with a diamond-cut special carbide cutting edge containing a high tungsten carbide content and a homogeneous, fine-grained structure, the tip has a 120° angle and the tool features an asymmetrically shaped spiral for optimal transport of dry drill cuttings. The drill bit is suitable for both battery-powered and corded machines and is finished in green.
The diamond-cut carbide tip provides long life and high wear resistance while the fine-grained, high tungsten carbide content ensures reliable cutting performance in very hard materials. The 120° tip angle and asymmetrical spiral design improve contact pressure and chip evacuation, enabling efficient dry drilling. Recommended rotational speed is 800–1000 rpm without impact, which makes the bit suitable for machines that deliver steady, high contact pressure.
Mount the KWB 052650 masonry drill bit in a suitable drill with correct chuck tightening and set the machine to a rotation speed between 800 and 1000 rpm without impact action. Apply steady contact pressure and allow the asymmetrical spiral to evacuate dry drill cuttings. For very hard materials, keep drilling intervals short to avoid overheating and withdraw occasionally to clear debris. Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and respiratory protection, when drilling.
Use this drill bit primarily for dry drilling in hard stones and concrete. Avoid impact mode and excessive speed; maintain the recommended 800–1000 rpm for optimal performance and tool life. For glass and ceramics start with low pressure and steady speed to prevent chipping.
