Drill bit set KWB 052800 4 pcs

The KWB 052800 drill bit set contains four diamond-cut special carbide bits in sizes 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm. Each bit has a high tungsten carbide content with a homogeneous, fine-grained structure and a 120° tip angle. The bits are asymmetrically spiraled to optimise removal of dry drill cuttings and are finished in green. They are designed for right-hand rotation and recommended for use without impact at 800–1,000 rpm. Suitable for battery-powered and corded machines.

How to use

Choose the appropriate drill bit size for the required hole and secure it in the drill chuck for right-hand rotation. Set the drill to a non-impact mode and start at low speed to establish a centre, then increase to the recommended 800–1,000 rpm. Apply steady axial pressure; the bits are designed for high contact pressure. Use dry drilling and periodically withdraw the bit to clear cuttings if necessary.

Usage recommendations

For best results, avoid impact or hammer mode, maintain the recommended rotational speed, and allow the drill bit to cool by intermittent drilling. Use suitable personal protective equipment (eye and hand protection) when working with stone, ceramics or glass.
